The Northbrook 4th of July Association is an all-volunteer, grassroots organization that has been planning the July 4th activities in Northbrook since 1968. It is through volunteer time, and contributions of individuals, businesses and other organizations, that the association is able to present the finest program of activities for everyone -- from children to senior citizens. The Northbrook Independence Day activities and celebration are not Village or Park District sponsored events. However, the Park District and Village provide many in-kind services. Since 2008 the Village of Northbrook has made a contribution toward the celebration.
