A Village Tradition Since 1968



A traditional Ice Cream Social
Tuesday, July 1 from 6:30 to 9 pm during Park Fest on the Village Green.


Please join us for ice cream and cheer your favorite singer on as the weekly winners of the Northbrook singing compitition compete for the right to sing the national anthem prior to the fireworks on the Fourth of July.


4th of July

All morning activities take place in the Village Green Park
Shermer and Meadow Roads

 

7 a.m to 11: a.m.
Pancakes in the Park
Join us for breakfast in the Park - good food - good fun - good friends.

9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Music in the Gazebo
Family Games

10-11 a.m.
Annual Police and Fire Department Softball game

 


Mile-long Parade with floats, music and fun for all ages.


2:30 p.m.
Set up your lawns chairs, sit down and enjoy the parade!
It begins at Cherry and Western and ends at the Village Green Park

Ed Harvey and John Novinson are the 2008 Parade Marshals. The parade theme this year is
Red, White, Blue and Northbrook Green

Why don't you, your business, family or neighborhood plan on marching in the parade this year? Just download a Parade Application or pick one up at the Village Hall or Library. Fill out the application and return it along with your fee, and you'll participate in a memory-making experience.
